Practice Manager

Arlene has been a vital part of Edgewater Animal Hospital since 2006, beginning as a Customer Service Representative and rising to Practice Manager in 2018. In addition to her leadership role, she serves as a Client Experience Specialist with United Veterinary Care, helping elevate service standards across Orlando-area animal hospitals. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Arlene enjoys camping with her husband, bonding with her pets Nova and Lola, and spending quality time with her large, blended family.

Arlene started her Journey with Edgewater Animal Hospital in 2006 as a customer service Representative. She graduated from Howard University in 1994, where she also pledged to Delta Sigma Theta. She always provided the care and the support clients needed in times of emergencies, sick visits, and wellness care. In 2018, she was promoted to Practice Manager and has always exceeded goals to ensure a good work environment and that the clients are taken care of. She also serves in a secondary position with United Veterinary Care as a standard Client Experience Specialist, where she partners with different animal hospitals in Orlando and the surrounding area. Within her position, she helps Customer Service Representatives make sure their clients receive top-notch care within a reasonable timeframe. It’s her goal to make sure the clients are happy and that they know their pets are well taken care of.

Arlene is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She moved to the Orlando area in 2005. She loves to spend time with her husband, going camping or relaxing. She also spends time with her fur companions, Nova and Lola. She has seven wonderful grandchildren, three handsome sons, one beautiful daughter, as well as three stepsons whom she adores in her blended family.
